Hospitals are where you go to get sick

I am semi-back!

Two weeks after being struck by a car--breaking the left leg tibia and inflicting various bumps and bruises--while walking with the green light in a crosswalk, I am home after 14 days in hospital and rehab.

Merde, I go away and GSE things get exciting and the stocks run up.

Even my friends suggest I go out and get hit again!

But walking with a left leg immobolizer (ankle to mid-thigh brace to allow bones to knit)--until it becomes weight bearing again in a few weeks--may limit my mobility chances to boost your incomes if that what caused the positive stock movements.

On GSE matters

Your analysis of the House and Senate D's signing those Collins case amicus briefs should realize it's their way of signaling the Trump Admin "do not
do anything dramatic, or possibly at all, with GSE executive actions or regulatory relief." It's a turf and substance thing.

If Otting-Mnuchin)  do so much of the driving here, does that leave Calabria, carrying someone else's jockstrap and will he be happy??

Will do a full blog when events and my recovery dictate.

Are you sure it wasn't fellow travelers car that hit you?

80-year-old woman, but it could have been Bob Corker or Mark Warner in drag? I was on my back and didn't see the perp, when she got out of her car.

Welcome back.
What’s going to hurt even more then your recovery is your fellow Democrats, specifically low IQ Waters and Brown, attempts to block the release of F&F. Not surprising for others.

Bill,

hope you feel better soon, it could have been worse. Never trust a car driver, shit happens, but I'm not paying them.

Anon--
You and I are seeing the same thing--unless IMO--there is an ironclad (statutory) mandate for the GSEs to pick up their old affordable housing mandates, likely with numeric goals.

The irony is that--on pure service data--F&F support more mortgage financing for non-low mod families, meaning more constituents and voters, but since most lenders don't, the Congress
will insist the GSEs do, which was the exact same rationale they used in 1992, when OFHEO (original FHFA) first was created.

hope you recover soon and well. if Bethesda is too crowded, move to Clarksburg or Poolesville. Montgomery county has lots of space.

Thanks Friends--Funny, my roommate at the Adventist Rehab Center was from Clarksburg and we laughed together a lot, except he snored like a railroad train.

Later I found out that his first roommate asked for a room change because of it. (ARC has no single rooms, which is three years away in their development plan.)
